The 1959 Lindbergh Guitar
A black body, with white edge binding, Lindberg acoustic guitar, with a white pearloid raised scratchplate signed and annotated Thanks for everything from Elvis Presley "1959".
This guitar was given by Elvis to a young fan, during his time stationed in Germany.
Three young fans, on traveling to Bad Nauheim, went to the house where Elvis was based, but unfortunately Elvis was not home.
The group were helped by the local police to find a hostel to stay. Elvis, on finding out about the fans, subsequently invited them to his house the next day.
After much hospitality, the fans left, at which time Elvis gave this signed guitar, which was in his living room, to one of them.
