Gibson J-200 - 1963
The guitar is a 1963 custom Gibson J-200 created in black finish with burgandy custom crafted pickguard featuring beatiful yellow flowers running along a vine.
The instrument which is serial #61952, also features Elvis's famous Kenpo Karate logo affixed to the instrument's body.
It was originally acquired by Elvis in the 1960'S and given directly by Elvis to close friend and Memphis Mafia member, Marty Lacker.
Lacker worked as Elvis's aide for many years and in 1976 he received this guitar from Elvis in Graceland.
Elvis used this guitar often at Graceland as well as in concert, including on stage in Las Vegas.
